McDonald’s UAE recently announced the launch of its newest chicken sandwich range – the first collection of spicy chicken products ever to be offered by McDonald’s Arabia.

As of this week, customers can enjoy the Spicy Chicken Big Mac, offering all the delicious flavours of a McDonald’s Chicken Big Mac, but now with a bold kick to satisfy those who are craving some extra spiciness. The second sandwich in the range promises just as much of a punch, and will be announced by the end of this month. Also on offer is the new McDonald’s Spicy Chicken Burger, which will be available until the end of 2012.

The introduction of such a bold flavour profile marks McDonald’s’ ongoing commitment to respond to the unique preferences of its loyal clientele.

Rafic Fakih, Managing Director and Partner of McDonald’s UAE explained: “Our customers in the UAE have exceptionally discerning palates; research shows that bolder flavour profiles are extremely popular in this market. McDonald’s is happily responding by offering its range of spicy chicken sandwiches for the first time ever in the UAE. We’re confident our customers will enjoy the change.”

In addition to enjoying the range of sandwiches at McDonald’s restaurants nationwide, customers will also have the chance to participate in the Unforgettable Firsts application on the McDonald’s Arabia Facebook page. Showcasing an interactive platform and offering participants the chance to contribute to a McDonald’s television commercial, the application is the first of its kind to be launched by McDonald’s Arabia.

McDonald’s is committed to serving the very best, and will not compromise on food quality. All products served at all McDonald’s restaurants in the Middle East are Halal, inspected and approved by local authorities and Halal officers at the countries of export and customs officials at the port of entry. Meat used in McDonald’s restaurants can be traced back to a trusted supplier that shares its dedication to the highest quality standards.
