Pakistan: Deal signed to promote halal products


LAHORE: Halal Research Council Pakistan (HRCP) and Jummah Mosque Mauritius Halal Council on Tuesday signed an agreement to promote halal industry.
The signing ceremony was held in Quartre Borne in Mauritius, where Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of HRCP Muhammad Zubair Mughul and President Juma Mosque Halal Council Mauritius Nisar Rehmatullah signed the deal.
The High Commissioner of Pakistan to Mauritius Retired Major General Muhammad Sidique, former Mauritius president Qasim Otem, Minister for Industrial Relations Shakil Ahmed, deputy Governor of Central Bank of Mauritius Sunil Bani Mado and CEO Mauritius Stock Exchange Sad Lalo and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
