Pakistan: Agreement for Halal food signed

LAHORE – A Lahore-based food and beverage company has won business contract of million of dollars from two multi-national companies of Europe and Indonesia, says a press release.

It may be recalled that eminent businessman of Lahore’s industrial area Daroghawala Rana Mohammad Azhar recently paid an extensive one month UAE business tour and came back home last Friday from Dubai after winning contract of Halal food worth million of dollars.

He said even businessmen of Muslim countries reluctant to visit Pakistan for the promotion of bilateral trade.

He suggested the government to take steps in improving law and order situation and take initiatives in supplying utilities like water, electricity and natural gas smoothly to local industries. Earlier, he was warmly welcomed and garlanded by famous eye-surgeon Dr Khalil Ahmad along with a large number of industrialists and traders upon his arrival at Lahore Airport.
