Australian natural healthcare company Rapid Nutrition has entered into a joint venture agreement with Indian pharmaceutical production company Cheminnova.

On a visit to Paris’ main meat market on Tuesday morning, President Sarkozy rejected the claims of far-right Front National leader Marine Le Pen that all meat consumed in the Ile-de-France region is halal, without consumers being aware.
ANSA partcipated in the first ever historic International Conference on Halal Food in Riyadh which concluded on Tuesday with the Saudi government promising the delegates to tighten supervision and standards, and calling on non-Muslim countries exporting food to Islamic countries to strictly adhere to Islamic regulations with regard to ensuring products are Halal.
The $400-billion global halal food market is a cash cow that Brazilian meat producers cannot ignore and no effort is spared by the South American country to ensure compliance with strict religious and hygiene standards set by buyers of their products in the Islamic world.
